Ron Lancaster
Ron has over 40 years of experience in radio, having worked at several Massachusetts stations, including the former WPEP in Taunton. He has held several positions during his career including: news director, talk show host and high school sports play-by-play announcer. He currently hosts the “WVBF Morning Wake Up News” on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a two-hour program from 7 to 9 am that features news, sports, weather and other information of interest. He also hosts “Hometown Radio” on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 to 11 am. It’s a two-hour talk show that discusses local, state and national issues and includes guests on a variety of subjects as well as listener phone calls.
